Long Island Restaurant Week
November 2 – 9, 2014
Long Islanders love to eat out! And Long Island Restaurant Week makes it easy to enjoy many high-end restaurants that may be out of some diner’s budgets during the rest of the year. Many of the Islands best restaurants have been participating in this bi-annual culinary event since 2006 and are big fans of the promotional boost that returns a flood of new business and community goodwill. Restaurants have the opportunity to reach a whole new audience and win them over with an outstanding dining experience.
Long Island Restaurant Week builds local restaurant business during the spring and fall when sales are usually sluggish. From November 2 – 9, almost 250 participating restaurants on LI will offer a three-course prix fixe menu for $27.95. Beverages and gratuity are not included in the set price.
Some participating restaurants see up to a 200% increase in sales, so don’t forget to make your reservations early (at those restaurants that accept reservations). Participating restaurants will offer the prix fixe menu each night that they are open (all night), except Saturday when restaurants are only required to offer the prix fixe menu until 7pm. Please call ahead to find out if the restaurant where you choose to dine is a participant, if they take reservations, and until what hour the prix fixe is available on Saturday.
Restaurants have the option to add additional items to the prix fixe menu that may have supplemental charges as long as they offer 3 apps/3 entrees/3 desserts at the set price of $27.95. If you haven’t taken advantage of Long Island Restaurant Week in the past, here’s your opportunity to see what you’ve been missing!
